Do you remember when you were in the band, or do you remember hearing your local band on a Friday night? Of course you do! Band brings back so many fond memories, from band camp, hanging with friends, competitions, parades, and more! Our boosters are hard at work making sure we have the items we need for band camp, volunteers, and more so that our students can continue to have the amazing experience that countless others have had in the past.

We need your help as well! In addition to band camp, we rely on local business, community, alumni, and individual sponsors to help the band pay for additional items such as helping kids who are struggling to pay for their fees because of hardship, purchase new instruments for our growing band program, uniforms, and more. With the pandemic and its financial strain, we could use your help more than ever!

What are we raising money for this season? We are raising money to purchase additional instruments for our students. Next, as many of you know, our equipment trucks need replacement. Currently the band fleet consists of two enclosed trailers that have been around for almost 20 years. We are looking to purchase a 20ft - 28ft enclosed trailer which will not only provide a larger space to transport our band equipment, but also help us reduce the number of fleet vehicles needed to move our band. We also want to use the sides of the trailer as an opportunity to showcase our band’s community sponsors! Finally, we are raising money to purchase new uniforms for our growing program. Most of our uniform parts are from the original band uniform order 20 years ago. We have pants with holes and falling apart, and shakos that have bills falling off them and peeling. Our students deserve a uniform that sets them apart from the rest and allows them to feel proud and comfortable during football games and marching band competitions.
